libcyrus-imap-perl software package provides Interface to Cyrus imap client imclient library, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcyrus-imap-perl
libcyrus-imap-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcyrus-imap-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcyrus-imap-perl *
You will get with libcyrus-imap-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
